Sanquhar Tolbooth Museum history
The Sanquhar Tolbooth Museum is located in a historic 18th-century building that originally served as a tolbooth. This building was designed in the Baroque style in 1739 by the Scottish architect William Adam and is now classified as a Category A listed building.
